The Volta a Catalunya confirms its dates for the 2025 edition

The Volta Ciclista a Catalunya already has dates for the celebration of its 104th edition. The International Cycling Union (UCI) has confirmed this morning the UCI WorldTour calendar for the next 2025 season, in which the Catalan race, the third oldest stage race of this circuit of the highest world category after the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia, will be held between Monday 24 and Sunday 30 March.
One more year, the best teams and cyclists in the world will be in Catalunya during the last week of March to compete in a race fully consolidated in the UCI WorldTour calendar, which this year 2024 had a luxury winner as the Slovenian Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates), the outstanding leader of the world ranking, in a real sporting and public success.
Thus, the Volta a Catalunya will once again shine within the UCI WorldTour calendar, the exclusive group of the most important cycling races in the world, which in 2025 will have 36 races held in thirteen different countries. The Catalan race will once again feature seven varied stages spread throughout the Catalan territory, details of which will be confirmed in the coming months.
