After making its debut in the Volta 2024, with the sponsorship of the fifth stage of the race, which arrived in the city of Viladecans, the Viladecans The Style Outlets centre reaffirms its commitment to the Catalan round by becoming the main sponsor of the team classification. A classification that in recent years has seen the best teams in the world win this award.

Since 2021, the teams that have won this award have been the British INEOS Grenadiers (2021), Bahrain Victorious (2022 and 2024) or UAE Emirates (2023), the team of the world champion and winner of the last edition of the Volta, Tadej Pogacar.

The presence of Viladecans The Style Outlets will be very visible in the Volta Catalunya 2025. The brand will be present on several supports, one of the most prominent at the prize-giving ceremony for the team classification.

The award will be presented before each stage start, in the presentation of the teams in the village area. On stage 7, which will be held in Barcelona, the award for the best team of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya 2025 will be presented on the final podium. Viladecans The Style Outlets opened its doors in October 2016, becoming the first outlet centre in the metropolitan area of Barcelona. Since then, the centre has continued to grow, adding shops of renowned brands and attracting more and more visitors, many of them international, thanks to its strategic location, just a few minutes from the Josep Tarradellas Barcelona - El Prat airport.

The mayor of Viladecans, Olga Morales, said; ‘The experience of hosting the arrival of any stage was so positive that we dared to ask for a friendly treatment. Thanks to the complicity of Viladecans The Style Outlets and the acceptance of the Volta we have achieved it and we are very satisfied. We believe that, with the Volta, Viladecans will become the capital of the European green city Green Leaf 2025, as one of the raisons d'être of this park is the promotion of health and quality of life, and sport is a great cause’.

Eduardo Ceballos, director of Asset Management at NEINVER, “This sponsorship is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the dynamism and projection of our municipality, both locally and beyond our borders. Not only does it reinforce our link with sport and its values, but it also allows us to unite as a community around the effort, achievement and passion for this wonderful sport”.

For his part, Rubén Peris, general director of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya celebrated the company's involvement with the Volta; “In 2024 Viladecans Town Council and Viladecans The Style Outlets made the arrival of the race in the town possible. Just 1 year later, not only will it host a stage start from its facilities, but its commitment will go further by becoming the main sponsor of the team classification. A commitment that makes us proud as it symbolises that their experience with us, just one year ago, was very positive”.

The Volta Ciclista a Catalunya 2025 will celebrate its 104th edition with an ambitious route and three high altitude finishes. Numerous stimuli for the teams, offering them the opportunity to take on a demanding route that fits in perfectly with the 2025 calendar of events. An edition that in the coming weeks will confirm which will be the main stars of each of the 24 UCI World Tour teams that will make up the race. Among some of the confirmed stars are double Tour de France winner Jonas Vingegaard, or Slovenian rider Primoz Roglic (four-time winner of the Vuelta España and the Volta Catalunya 2023).
