Get ready to visit and enjoy the 104th edition of Volta a Catalunya

Volta a Catalunya is preparing for its 104th male edition, which will take place between March 24th to 30th. Before all details of the route are published during the official presentation (Friday March 14th), the host cities of the seven stages are getting ready to accomodate the race.

The vast majority of the Volta a Catalunya stages (1, 2, 3, 4 and 6) have their approximate finish schedule around 5PM (UTC +1), which can oscillate depending on the race speed. The only different stages will be stage 5, which will finish around 4PM (UTC +1), and the last stage in Barcelona, stage 7, which will finish around 2PM (UTC +1). On the other hand, the team presentations and stage starts schedule change every day depending on the race parcours.

Below, we share the location and schedule of the different stages starts and finishes, to plan your visit at the Volta a Catalunya. The full route information will be published during the official race presentation on Friday March 14th at 6PM (UTC +1), live TV at the Catalan channel Esport3.

Stage 1. Sant Feliu de Guíxols – Sant Feliu de Guíxols. Monday March 24th.

  • Team presentation at Club Nàutic de Sant Feliu de Guíxols between 11:20 AM a 12:35 PM.
  • Neutralized start at Carrer Cristòfol Colom at 12:45 PM.
  • Finish at Carretera de Girona of Sant Feliu de Guíxols around 5 PM.

Stage 2. Banyoles – Figueres. Tuesday March 24th.

  • Team presentation between 11:45 AM and 12:45 PM at Plaça dels Jurats, in front of Aspirina sculcture, at Passeig de la Indústria of Banyoles.
  • Neutralized start at 12:55 PM.
  • Finish at Figueres (N-II with Pujada del Castell) around 5 PM

Stage 3. Viladecans The Style Outlets – La Molina. Wednesday March 25th.

  • Team presentation between 10:10 AM and 11:10 AM at Viladecans The Style Outlets.
  • Neutralized start from carrer de Matilde Ucelay at 11:20 AM.
  • Finish at La Molina around 5 PM.

Stage 4. Sant Vicenç de Castellet – Montserrat Mil·lenari. Thursday March 26th.

  • Team presentation between 11 AM and 12 PM at Espai U d’Octubre of Sant Vicenç de Castellet.
  • Neutralized start from carrer Barcelona at 12:10 PM.
  • Finish at Abadia de Montserrat around 5 PM.

Stage 5. Terres de l’Ebre (Paüls – Amposta). Friday March 27th.

  • Team presentation between 11 AM and 12 PM at carrer de la Carretera of Paüls.
  • Neutralized start at 12:10 PM.
  • Finish at Avinguda de Sant Jaume of Amposta around 4 PM.

Stage 6. Berga – Queralt. Saturday March 29th.

  • Team presentation between 11:25 AM and 12:25 PM at Passeig de la Indústria of Berga.
  • Neutralized start at 12:35 PM.
  • Finish at Queralt around 5 PM.

Stage 7. Barcelona – Barcelona. Sunday March 30th.

  • Team presentation between 9:45 AM and 10:45 AM at Plaça d’Espanya of Barcelona.
  • Neutralized start at 10:55 AM in front of the Venetian Towes at Avinguda Maria Cristina.
  • Finish at Avinguda Rius i Taulet around 2 PM.
