The RACC renews its collaboration with the Volta by awarding prizes to the winner of each stage

The Club will award prizes to the winners and will coordinate the advanced support service, such as the ambulance operation that will ensure the safety of the race.
The entity joined in 2024 as one of the main sponsors of the race.
The RACC and the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya have reached an agreement so that the organization will once again be one of the main collaborators of the competition in the 2025 edition. The Mobility Services Club will award a prize to the winner of each stage and will coordinate the advanced life support service, which includes, among others, ambulance operation that will ensure the safety of the race throughout the week of the event. The organization’s commitment to the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya is yet another of the Club's actions in its commitment to cycling and the promotion of healthy habits.
As it did in the last Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, the RACC will be in charge of presenting the stage winner's prize, a prestigious award that in recent years has been received by riders who need no introduction, such as world champion Tadej Pogacar, double Olympic medallist Rémco Evenepoel and Vuelta winner Primoz Roglic. Likewise, the safety of the convoy that will mobilize the 104th edition of the race will count on the ambulance operation that the RACC will provide during its celebration, between 24 and 30 March 2025. RACC HolaBICI, promoting mobility by bicycle The RACC is consolidating its transformation into a Mobility Services Club, a project whose main objective is to promote mobility by bicycle. One of the initiatives it launched in 2018 was the RACC HolaBICI project, its own cycling community that encompasses those people who make frequent urban journeys by bicycle. This initiative covers services and products aimed specifically at cyclists, such as assistance and insurance services and a subscription service for electric bicycles. It also makes available to the entire cycling community a network of 15 RACC Bike Points for bicycle self-repair in different parts of Catalonia, the Bicipèdia (a virtual encyclopedia of bicycles with more than 1,000 models), the CityTrips application (a Mobility Services platform, which integrates all modes of transport) and the Cyclist Barometer, an annual study on the behaviour and opinions of cyclists in Barcelona, carried out since 2018. The RACC HolaBici community currently has more than 40,000 users.
The RACC also promotes women's cycling through its RACC HolaBICI Team, a project that was born with the intention of promoting women's sport and encouraging their participation in endurance cycling races. The Volta Ciclista a Catalunya continues working to celebrate its 104th edition next March. The venues for the start and finish of the next edition of the race are being finalized, and the event is gaining prestige year after year, thanks to the incorporation of prestigious sponsors such as RACC, who bring quality to a race that generates great interest among the best teams in the world, who come to Catalonia with the best stars of their teams.
