Primoz Roglic will ride Volta a Catalunya 2025

The Volta Ciclista a Catalunya is preparing for a top-class 104th edition between March 24th to 30 March, a race which will have attractions as the one of Primož Roglič, the winner of the Catalan race in 2023.

The 35-year-old Slovenian confirmed his calendar to the press during his team's training camp last December, confirming his participation in the Catalan UCI World Tour event, which he won in 2023, also taking two stage victories in Sant Feliu de Guíxols and Lo Port. Previously, Roglič had taken the start of the Volta a Catalunya in 2016, in his first year at cycling's top level, coming close to victory in the final stage in Barcelona.

The Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe team leader will once again delight Catalan fans in 2025, where he will be one of the main attractions of a Volta that still has many big names to confirm their participation.
