La Volta a Catalunya presents all the details of 2024 on Tuesday 28th February

The 103rd men's edition of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, which will be held between 18 and 24 March, and the first women's edition, which is scheduled for 7, 8 and 9 June 2024, will be officially presented on Wednesday 28 February at 5.45 pm. The event can be followed live on television on the Esport 3 channel.

Countdown to the next edition of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, which is facing a 2024 of novelties with the joint presentation of its men's and women's races. With just over three weeks to go until the 103rd edition of the men's UCI World Tour race, which will once again bring the best teams and riders in the world to Catalonia, the race will unveil all the details of the race at the official presentation.

One of the highlights of the day will be the complete route of the 2024 edition. At this stage, the start and finish locations of the race have already been made official, but all the points and the altimetry of each stage are still to be known. Thus, we will know the complete route, which will start on 18 March from Sant Feliu de Guíxols, and will finish, as usual in recent years, on 24 March in Barcelona. In the case of the women's race, which will have UCI 2.1 international category, it will start on 7 June in Manresa and will finish, also in Barcelona, on Sunday 9 June.

The presentation will take place at the INEFC facilities in Barcelona with exclusive access by invitation. The event can be followed live on TV through the Catalan Esport 3 channel, starting at 17.45h.

Other topics to be unveiled during the event will be the official poster for the Volta 2024, as well as the winners of the Medals of Honour, awarded by the organisation to personalities from various fields linked to the event. The end of the party will be provided by Sula & Cookah P, performing live the official song of the Volta 2024, "La Bicicleta".
