Caser secures himself the best climber of the Volta a Catalunya

Barcelona (07-03-2022). – The 101st edition of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya will have Caser Seguros as one of its main sponsors. The insurance company will be the image of the jersey of the mountain classification, with which the best climber of the edition will be dressed during the whole week of the race.
For the second consecutive year, Caser Seguros will be the sponsor of the mountain jersey of the Volta a Catalunya, characterised by its white colour with red stripes. As it did in the historic 100th edition of the race, the insurance company will dress the leader of the mountain classification, who will be given the jersey at the end of each stage and on the final podium, where the winner of the classification will be crowned.
Cyclists such as Esteban Chaves (2021), Thomas De Gendt (2016 and 2019), Alejandro Valverde (2017 and 2018) or Nairo Quintana (2011) have won this classification during the last editions.
Caser Seguros reaffirms then its commitment to sport and cycling, being present for the second year in a cycling race of great prestige such as the Volta a Catalunya, the second oldest stage race in the world after the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia.
By sponsoring the Volta, Caser reinforces the company's visibility in Catalonia, where it has offices in the main cities. Mariano Cugueró, territorial director of the insurer in Catalonia, recalled Caser's commitment to sports sponsorship. "The effort and teamwork are typical of cycling and values that, as a company, we share. To be able to dress the mountain leader is a nice way of supporting a competition that so many fans follow". Caser thus confirms its support for sport - it is also a sponsor of the Vuelta a España - and also reinforces its visibility in Catalonia, where it has a wide presence through offices in the main cities and an important network of insurance agents and brokers.
The Volta a Catalunya 2022 will be held between 21 and 27 March, starting from Sant Feliu de Guíxols and with seven varied and demanding stages until reaching Barcelona. Consolidated in the UCI World Tour calendar, the world's top division, the race is guaranteed the participation of the best cycling teams in the world.
