World champion Alejandro Valverde will defend the victory in the "Volta", accompanied by Marc Soler

The Murcian cyclist has won the last two editions of the Catalan race with the Movistar team, which also confirms the Catalan Marc Soler for the "Volta"
The rainbow jersey of the world champion will ride in the 99th edition of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya, since the triple winner of the event (2009-2017-2018) Alejandro Valverde will participate in the Catalan race. The Movistar Team has also confirmed to the organizers of the "Volta" that the Vilanova cyclist Marc Soler (3rd in 2017) will be present at the race.
