The Irish Dan Martin, 2013 edition winner, will be at the “Volta” 2019

Six years after his triumph at the “Volta” Ciclista a Catalunya, and at his eleventh participation in the race, the Irish Dan Martin will return to the “Volta”, at the 99 at Edition (25th-31st March). The cyclist of the Team Emirates UAE will be one of the stars at the present edition.

Since year 2008, Dan Martin only has missed an edition of the “Volta” (2010), and therefore it is a regular of the Catalan race, that won the year 2013 with big brilliance. Martin has two victories of stage at the “Volta”, at La Molina ski resort the year 2016 and in Port Ainé ski resort the year 2013.

Martin, one of the figures of the Team Emirates UAE, will share leadership with the Italian Fabio Aru, that also will be present at the “Volta”.
