99th Volta Ciclista a Catalunya: TV images in 190 countries and live on five continents

The 99th edition of the Volta Ciclista en Catalunya presents record tv media coverage record. If in the sportive aspect it will have a luxury participation, with cyclists like Valverde, Froome, Bernal, Quintana, Bardet or Pinot, in the television broadcast it has also created an extraordinary expectation: The images of the "Volta" will be watched in 190 countries and broadcasted live on the 5 continents.
Through a total of 29 international broadcasters and 4 image distribution agencies, the "Volta" presents in this edition outstanding news, such as the live broadcast for the first time in countries like Australia (SBS), Canada (GCN) or Mexico. (Claro Sport)
In addition to these news, the race can be followed as in recent years live by Esport3 in Catalonia, and by TDP and Eurosport in the rest of Spain, as well as by Eitb in the Basque Country.
Eurosport will once again offer the race live for all of Europe, while NBC Sports will offer the race live in the United States. Africa (Supersport and OSN), and Asia (DAZN in Japan and Eurosport Asia) will also be able to follow the evolution of cyclists in the landscapes of Catalonia.

With a practically unbeatable participation with almost all the world stars, the "Volta" will have in this 99 edition the current world champion, Alejandro Valverde, the four times winner of the Tour, Chris Froome, and emerging figures such as the Colombian Egan Bernal, the Catalan Marc Soler or the Balearic Enric Mas, in addition to other cyclists like the twins Yates, Simon and Adam, or the French Thibaut Pinot and Romain Bardet.
The television rights of the Volta Ciclista en Catalunya are managed by A.S.O, organizers of the Tour de France and other cycling events. They are also responsible for television production, distributed in HD and this year will have a large deployment, with 1 repeater aircraft, 1 helicopter, 4 motorcycles and more than fifty professionals to offer the best possible images to the world.
The event starts on Monday, March 25 in Calella with 175 cyclists divided into 25 teams that will ride on the Catalan roads until the end of the "Volta", next March 31st in Barcelona, and after passing through more than 160 municipalities in Catalunya.
